LUSH HAUL

LUSH HAUL

I've always wanted to try Lush products because they're cruelty-free. (not tested on animals) I've seen the store at the mall but it looked cramped, so I never went in. I finally looked online and picked out some things I wanted to try, and when I got paid, we went to the mall and looked at Lush. I couldn't find anything I was looking for and had to ask the workers. They were nice and talked to me about the products. The store is very smelly and could probably give you a headache, but it's not so bad once you get used to it.

The first thing I picked out were Toothy Tabs. I thought it was such a cool idea and it's cruelty-free! I bought Tom's of Maine toothpaste from Walmart and I just felt super paranoid that it was going to make my teeth fall out. I feel super comfortable with the Toothy Tabs though. I smelled them for a while but ultimately decided on Dirty and Chou Chou ...I Love You. I also got a sample of Ultrablast. Toothy Tabs are basically little circle tabs that you chew and brush on your teeth. They have basic flavors like spearmint to weird flavors like wasabi and tea. Toothy Tabs are vegan.
They also have:
Sparkle-Vanilla and black pepper,
Atomic-Spices with cloves,
Breath of God-Exotic perfumed powders,
Aquatic-Earl grey and jasmine.

($4.95)Dirty: Spearmint, neroli
($4.95)Chou Chou ...I Love You: Rose
(Free Sample) Ultrablast: Wasabi

My first time using Toothy Tabs was weird. I didn't like how salty the Toothy Tab was but I also chewed it with my back teeth instead of my front teeth. My second time using them (chewing the tab with my front teeth) was better and I liked it a lot more. I use them every morning and night and I never have to worry about trying to get toothpaste out of my toothbrush. Overall 10/10. I did enjoy Ultrablast a lot, so I'm going to purchase a box of those soon.

The second thing I looked for was solid perfume. They have the liquid perfume but I really wanted to try the solid perfume. I was only going to buy one since I knew it would last a long time. I couldn't decide between any of them. I picked out Lust and Karma. I didn't know which one I liked more and it was hard to smell because of all of the smells from everything else in the store. I picked Karma but after we left and I smelled it again, it just smelled spicy and I didn't really like it as much as I thought I did. I am definitely going to purchase some of the other smells though! In solids, they have:
Lust-Sensual jasmine, Breath of God-Deep cedarwood, vetivert and sandalwood meets light lemon, melon & neroli, Vanillary-Jasmine & Fairtrade vanilla absolutes layered with the burnt caramel scent of Tonka bean, and Imogen Rose-Real rose oil and rose absolute. Solid perfumes are vegan.
They also have some other scents on their online store as well as spray perfumes!

($10.95) Karma: Pine, orange, and patchouli.

I didn't like the Karma scent; I'm more of a fruity-smell type of person? I tried it on my wrists and it lasted all day, even after trying to scrub the smell off. So the product is good but the smell just isn't for me.

I walked around and liked a few things but I couldn't decide on anything. I looked at some stuff called FUN and it looks and feels like play-doh. The girl said you can use it as body wash, shampoo, bubble bath, and shaving cream. I picked the red one and bought a soap case at Walmart to hold it in. FUN is vegan. They also had: Green FUN-lemon and lime, Blue FUN-lavender and Moroccan chamomile, Yellow FUN-vanilla, and Pink FUN-candy.

($6.95) Red FUN: Mandarin and orange.

I bought a red case for my Red FUN, and I bought Tyler a green case so he could try it with me. They all smell so amazing. I haven't really tested out all of the things you can do with it, but I did use it as shaving cream and it made my legs smell really good. It's also fairly easy to use. I will definitely buy the other colors.

At the counter I seen these bars of soap that had fins on them, the profits go towards helping sharks. Every year up to 100 million sharks are killed for shark fin soup. That's ridiculous! I bought one but I should have bought 20. They smell great and they're helping a good cause.

I also wanted to try the deodorant bars, but I was too scared to buy it and it not work for me etc. so I decided to wait on that. I think next time I will buy some shower gel and shampoo bars to try. I might also buy some Henna hair dye! Overall, I am satisfied with my purchases. I just wish I would have bought a different solid perfume. I'm excited to try new things from Lush. I hope you check them out too!

I also forgot to mention that since the products are handmade, they have stickers on them that say who made them. I thought that was really cool!

Thanks For Reading! :)
